At the Rajhans Nursery owned by Balachander of Chitra Group the Punjabi song with Kannada lyrics was shot for ‘Barfi’ on Friday evening in the presence of Diganth, Bhama, Shanthamma, Lakshmi Gowda, Dilipraj and others by director Rajasekhar.

The film ‘Barfi’ shooting has come near to completion. 10 days schedule in January complete the shoot says Rajasekhar who has recently returned with his team from 20 days schedule at Punjab, Amritsar, Simla and other areas. I went for talkie portion of shooting but environment was so good that it forced me to capture songs for the film mentioned Rajasekhar who is in his third film direction. This is a love story with jerks says the director.

For Diganth this is a film with lot of good matured elements in it. I was accepted for casual and cool roles. A few also told that I should not give tease the elders. This one is very decent. Bhama has a strong role according to Diganth.

Dilip Raj as Buta Singh, Diganth as Santosh and Bhama as Kushi are part of the major portions in this film. Dilip Raj feels that he is in a Hindi film as the Punjabi background is responsible for it. I am in my second film with Diganth. We have worked together in ‘Minchagi Nee Bandhu’ that is yet to release disclosed Dilip Raj.

Bhama says this is a beautiful love story and songs are very good. I have never been a Punjabi girl in my six years of career she informed.

Suchindra Prasad plays IPS officer in this film at Indo Pak border area in the film. Pavithra Lokesh plays mother to Bhama in this film.

Gundulpet Suresh has given full marks to the approach of Diganth and Bhama because shooting at hot sun in Punjab and other places was very tough.
